For those interested in technical analysis, a point-and-figure chart on LOR shows a very positive trend for the stock. Breaking through bearish resistance line with relative strength moving to positive. Sets up for a move back to old highs at 33.

Needs to hold 19 1/2.

Must have been an oversight. Loral had representation that spoke at this meeting. Maybe it is taboo to mention L-O-R-A-L in Washington DC.

In other ponderings, only 11 days until SatMex V is launched, perhaps 20-some days until the first Soyuz goes up. After that, things will move quickly. We should see one G* launch per month all the way until late summer. We have four GEOs to launch from late January to June. We will hear positives and negatives about gateways, handsets, testing, etc. through this whole time period. There will be wins, or the lack thereof, at SS/L(wins forthcoming I would say, in the near term). C* is enough of an unknown that it could surprise. Acquisitions are still out there to be had, and Loral may be had as well with Ma Bell and our French friends out there in the shadows. New partnerships are certain to arise. All in all, Loral will be a very different beast 6 months into the future.
