AMERITRADE #%$#&(& BIG TIME

Already this morning they screwed up one sale which screwed up a buy, when I got a "broker" on the line after 7 minutes, he apologized and put in my buy. Half an hour later, two orders show up, both cancelled, then one filled. Customer support gets it verbally straightened out. Go to place an order and the entire trading system is down for a half hour (says so on the screen) can't get anywhere.
Mean while, my E-Mail is saying jump in buy, buy. Call--another 7 minute wait this can go on and on. Still no confirmation for two trades done a half hour ago. Can't wait for my other account to be set up.
LOL

If you placed a market order, ask for a time check. If they screwed
up, every brokerage has an error account and it will get handled.

If you had a limit order that is a different issue and would depend
on the price.

I dont see why any brokerage really wants to handle a stock like AMZN
at this stage. It could collapse and leave them with a lot of problems
and liabilities.

By the way, the Ameritrade stock is doing rather well...
