Geez, a 'Contrarian View' of the tallest order. Whereas there is little doubt we won't be using gas in a hundred years from now, i'd like to make a few bucks on SLB before then....... but i DO understand where you are coming from. Then again, would you like to discuss other things that won't be the same in a hundred years as they are today ?? Let's examine the companies that are HOT TODAY and think back to where these companies were 25 years ago. And let's go back to see what was hot 25 years ago and see where they are today market-wise. Let me start with, 25 years ago EVERYBODY wanted DuPont, GE, AT&T, GM......... TODAY everybody wants CSCO DELL MSFT INTC. I guess it depends on how much money you have to invest, how LONG you want to be in the market for, and if you are an Institutional Investor or not....
