Well, if you've dealt with them, I suppose you know what an audit of that nature is like. Far from exhaustive, right?

I mean, it may feel exhaustive if you have to dig up information for one of them and it may take up a lot of your time, but in the overall scheme of things how much of the documentation do they handle. A set of accountants that come in and do that -- can only spend so much time. They don't assume they are auditing crooks. Rather there are certain standards -- certain records are spot checked to see if those reporting standards are met, but as to the actual supporting materials -- no way can they go through it all, right?

The other item -- independence? It's just like anything else. Does the outfit want to keep the client?
