David, "You appear to think that I am convinced that all things in the Bible are literal. You are completely wrong." You are quite right, I was wrong, and noted so in a previous post. My apologies. John said a few posts back,"If any person of any denomination turns to Jesus as their personal Saviour they are saved. It is up to them to study God's word and decide if the church they are in is following it or not." I believe you are doing so. I did not see the effort and intent of your first post, being a bit clouded in anger left over from reading a previous post. This is definitely my problem and not yours. "Not believing and putting interpretations on The Bible that are not true, is what gets people in the frame of mind that you are in." I've never said I don't believe in the Bible, I am just doing what you are doing, not being convinced that all is literal, and studying God's word to see if the church is following it or not. Nonetheless, there is no question that I am working on anger issues. Don't let my burst of misplaced anger discourage you from posting. Have a nice day. Peace, Darrin
