Just posting what I read. I too am not an EE or expert. I just think based upon what I have read, that latency is a problem for ALL DRAM architectures and the RDRAM latency issue is way overblown. Toprani from PMBS says it handles latency better than others at this point.

Also, you have to ask yourself (in all sincerity) why would INTC put so much muscle behind RDRAM if it was inferior? My answer is they wouldn't. They are not out to protect anyone, they are out to improve their MPU roadmap and chipsets. Period!
