Marcos, I've been spending a lot of time working with some really smart people who know computers and operating systems, and I haven't met a single one who is stockpiling food, ammo, candles, kerosene, blankets, or anything else.

Maybe if we were all dependent on the govt to deliver food, water, and power I would get really concerned. And it wouldn't be just on Dec 31 1999.

I can't figure out who all of these y2k doomers think they are living amongst. The idea that things are going to break and we are all somehow going to be standing around helplessly while civilization collapses....the people I know who work on this stuff every day find that attitude incredibly lame.
