To Joe Medsker or others:
Of late, there has been some complaining about the actions of MM's.
A couple of weeks ago, I spoke with DCTC IR regarding the status of
any listing with AMEX or NASDAQ. This was before the Wavetech news
release. If I remember correctly, I was told that the company met
AMEX conditions and it was just a "matter of time".
Here is my question: If an AMEX listing is (was) imminent, why would
DCTC merge with Wavetech, a company with almost no employees and a
product for which they have been entirely unable to develop a market?
If it was only for the NASDAQ listing, it seems to me it would be
preferable to pursue the AMEX listing, also bringing a cusip change,
but without MM interference as they merely match "buy & sell" orders
like the NYSE.
