Either one of your two scenarios can occur. If the market trades down to the center tine, it should definitely be bought. It could otherwise attempt a reach down to that center tine and not make it all the way and then resume it's rally to newer highs. I kind of suspect the latter to be the case since the market is so strong.

BTW, even if the a/d is flat even for the next six market days, I'll only be dropping off a net of about 366 advances, the current number is over 5,000 so there is now room for a decent pull back without challenging the integrity of the a/d long signal.
