I saw the same thing last week at Radio Shack (AA & 9volt) here in Albq. The packaging mentioned manufactured specifically for Radio Shack in Singapore and Germany. They told me that they will be carrying the C & D cells soon. They had recharges specifically for NiMH. There were a few AA's and only one 9volt left on the display. Sales are improving, as customers become aware of the differences.

Radio Shack also carries NiMH cordless phone batteries. They are Sanyo. It may be safe to assume that they are also supplying the AA's, C's, and D's too. Maybe one of you who call ECD regularly can ask this directly, or is this also secret stuff. I have been using a 9 volt and a couple of AA's for 2 months, and I am pleased with the results.

I recently bought AAA batteries at radio Shack. Stay away from their charger it is on a timer only.
