They just can't seem to get a grip on reality. They keep churning the same idea over and over again--that Clinton should be crucified--without little acknowledgement that the impeachment is destroying the GOP and unifying the Democrats, who have little else to cluster around. Already the GOP is falling apart at the seams. This should be an era of triumph and agenda-setting for conservatives--the Cold War is over, the economy is doing great, rich people are getting richer, their fiscal ideas have all but won--and instead they're fixated on getting Clinton, who in the larger scheme of things is merely a lame-duck president who will serve out his term and fade into Jimmy Carter-like obsurity.
