Frank,
By chance do you have a list of the current operating CLEC's.
And any projection of numbers we shall see in the future.
Then, when in time will the "shake out" occur.
This all has to effect WCII's efforts to gain customers in the early stages.
BTW, I want to be a CLEC, how about you? Maybe we can all be CLEC's !! <Big joke and a smile>

I'm sure he does see the merit of each as anyone who has studied these technologies does - he just thinks that wireless is very compelling from a time to market and cost perspective.

I was not aware that people would be interested in picking up say a local phone company in an area servicing maybe 50,000 people. In Pennsylvania there are a number of local phone companies operated by families for many years.
