It is obvious that Amazon.com is absurdly overvalued. Competitors will cut into its sales years before it turns a profit and the bubble will burst. When this pig crashes its gonna be real ugly. Still, I wouldn't short AMZN because the pros manipulating this stock (including the Motley Fool) have proven quite adept at squeezing shorts to propel the stock higher. Your idea of playing the options side is wiser, IMO.

Note also that KTEL is positioned well as a strong competitor to AMZN. I see AMZN as tanking when the reality of the marketplace sets in, and strong competitors literally stealing sales from the company and market cap from it's stock.
