George, do you have any opinion on Qualcomm's latest venture with Microsoft, wirelessKnowledge, re platform for handheld devices, versus Symbian. Qualcomm seems also to be willing to support PalmPilot platform, too, and therefore not putting all its eggs in one basket.

The Qualcomm-Microsoft deal focused not on handsets but on basestations that can handle any of the variety of micro OSes. Qualcomm's elegantly designed pdQ phone, likely to be a huge winner next year, is based on the Palm3 OS, now upgraded with Java. The Microsoft deal does not involve Windows CE except as one of the systems that wireless data basestations must address.
