You wanna hear a SICK Frank Zappa story??
Here goes and this is A TRUE Story...I was there!!
(if you get grossed out easily...don't read any further!!)

A Buddy at college had a huge collection of cd's and tapes..(I mean HUGE!) as well as the baddest audio system on campus (Macitosh..shook stuff off walls 5 rooms down the hall) One night all buzzed up one of the dudes from the floor just Loved Frank and said he "would do anything for some old tapes of Zappa". Anything we said? "Yes,, anything". Well one thing led to another and here was the deal. "You two guys jerk off in that cup and I will drink it for the tapes". It was done deal! I won't name names...but the two guys spanked it into the cup and this guy drank it!!!!!!!!! I'm still ROFLMBA to this day....amazing how some will go just to hear some tunes.

How's that for sick?? Anyone got a sicker true story of what someone will do for music??

BTW...I vote Zepplin!!
BTW2...any Tragically Hip fans kicking around these parts?

There you go, L.R.R., right again. These kids never stood 10 feet from Jimi or 6 feet in front of Ginger Baker or in the front row at the Garrick Theater for one of the Mother's matinees. Or anywhere at a Led Zep concert. Cause if they did, they wouldn't be voting for these woosie bands. (And BTW, the Doors sucked big time in concert, and so did the Beatles, Big Brother, and lots of the other 60s bands.)

The Stones kick ass in concert, although the last time I saw them live was in 1972, with BB King warming up.

Top 15 live rock shows (in this order, the original bands): Mothers, Zep, Stones, Jimi, Little Feat, Floyd, ZZ, Genesis, Arthur Brown, Cream, Velvet Underground, Van Halen, Canned Heat, Santana.

But the truth is this: the best band of all time is the one that's playing right now.
