Grant,

Sooner or later the stock that was shorted will be called in on delivery. At that point the MM"S must come up with the stock that they sold. Remember, for every seller there is a buyer. That's why when we call for delivery on our certs, the brokerage goes to the MM's that sold the brokerage the stock to fill our order, they must deliver. When and if there is not enough free floating stock about, then the price rises to the level of satisfaction.

Hope this helps.

Regards,

Steve

<<<<My main question is, what do we do if all 5 million shares short are naked shorts? Our cert callback won't work against this and I don't see how a buy in will help us get these called back in unless the shorters just give up because of upward momentum from the buyin.>>>>

The naked shorts can work for us a lot better than covered shorts. You have to understand that the naked shorters sold shares of DCI they don't have. If you make them deliver the paper, they have a problem. They have to come up with the certificates. It is just that simple. Since they do not have the shares they have to buy them or find someone who will cover for them. As we continue to pull the shares out of the float the pot they can go to, gets smaller and smaller. WE have a squeeze on, its working and the shorts are scrambling for shares.

Best Regards
