Marcos - I have thought generally that the connections between YK2 and gold are somewhat tenuous - if I were pressed for reasons they would be a) panic conditions which if bad enough might cause a spill over into gold, and, b) arising out of a) - vastly increased purchases of gold coins worldwide. Some very interesting posts between yours and mine. Anti- americanism in the middle east and elsewhere will no doubt spill over into gold/Euro. My feeling is that the media are going to really run with this YK2 story starting 1/1/99. E

BTW do you know how to win a fight with a bear? Stand face to face with the bear, now reach behind you and grab 3 pounds of sh** and throw it in his face. This will blind him and he will be so disgusted he will run away. Don't worry, the sh** will be there.
