Actually Ramsey the best part of paris is the Saint Germain side. There are alot of very reasonable hotel's. They are more like inn's but I prefer them to the big overpriced, underserviced Hotels. The resteraunt's and shop's On ave St Germain are not cheap but they are not overpriced either. The resteraunt's and Cafe's are also more authentic French and less expencive. The problem with most tourist's in Paris is they go to all the tourist Hotel's and resteraunt's. I guess it's like going to NYC and spending a week in midtown and Times Square. If you go again I can give you some great sugestion's for a bargain trip to Paris. Iam there so often on Business that Ive discovered how to enjoy Paris on a resonable Budget.
