Curtis,

Thanks for suggestion. I thought NASD regulation considers only trading related issues, which I never happened to face at E*Trade. I have just filed a compliant, since my case obviously resulted from "unfair or improper business conduct by my broker".

Being a member of SI for some time I got used to the practice of posting messages just by linking to the last one. I am sorry if this made you feel uncomfortable. Anyway, thanks for your help.

Kind regards,
Alex

P.S. I do not think that there are any complicated matters just because of my location. The issue is quite generic - they debited my account and the money dissapeared, now all I want from them is to get an answer as to what exactly they did with my money, I mean a receipt (photocopy of payment order, bank telex, anything) from their bank. Yes, international wires are more complicated than domestic ones, but I ask for document from US bank (BONY) on certain activity of its US customer (E*Trade).
