My partner, Des, and I are heading down to the site tonight to witness the blaze firsthand before it gets turned off. We'll be back on Monday evening. Will let everyone know how that is.

I am so excited about this I can't even sleep!

Talk to you Monday!

John

Kerm/ Excitement

I know originally Boots and Coots estimated the daily flow to be about 100 million a day. (First assesment upon arrival) After 24 hours I understand the flow to have been increased by about 30%. I haven't heard anything but rumour beyond that, but Walsh was quoted as saying a million dollars a day is going up in smoke, which would give you the 400 million figure.

I feel yesterday's market action was attributed to the partners' meeting in Bakersfield. Those guys got down there and couldn't ignore what was in front of them. I also can't believe it, a broker from Merrill Lynch mentioned that Berkley was 'bullish,' but not saying much. In my book that's a screaming buy. But, hey I've been bullish for a long time here.

Have a better one! Hope today shows some more upticks!
