No one is going to buy Nvidia in the current environment especially not 3Dfx so you can stop speculating.

The current litigation against Nvidia by various industry players, including 3Dfx, guarantee that buyers will stay away since all the financial information showing an operating profit is going to be blown out of the water should any of the three lawsuits have merit.

Instead Nvidia will finally complete an IPO whether or not conditions are right. I, for one, think that an IPO will be completed by February after the company has "shown" two consecutive quarters of operating profits. The IPO money will be used to pay off current credit lines and other liabilities. Did anyone else notice that outstanding share count for Nvidia nearly doubled since last January. That's alot of options being awarded to management at (most likely a much lower than IPO price.
