Newbridge had a good week, but how about those crazy Internet stocks. ONSL is up about $35 today and something called Books-a-Million is going berserk. Then there is Biomira, the Canadian biotech that shot up from $2 to $17 on Nasdaq, but did not open on Toronto. Nasdaq halts the stock and when it reopens, it tanks down to $4 1/2. All this because someone recommended the stock on a TV program. That puts the rise in Newbridge in perspective.

Is there a chance they used the term "recommended" b/c that part of the contract isn't final? Otherwise how do you account for the wording? Pat, sure anything is possible. But you know as well as I do that "contracts" for equipment purchase are never binding. ASND or NN or anyone else can always be "thrown out" with minimal consequences. So to further speculate that ASNDs portion of the bid is not "final" is silly. Do you really think the vendor would like reading on Yahoo News that they have awarded a bid when they haven't? What I read, is that ASND will provide up to 100 STDX-9000 switches running NavisCore. Your assertions that ASND is "spinning" this release seems off base to me. Gary
