I am long on MSFT, but I believe that your predictions are, indeed, a bit overstated. ORCL will be able to dominate the enterprise RDBMS market for several more years, at least. IBM does not even compete with MSFT and vice versa, for the most part. They are in different roles in the marketplace.

Do you know how big IBM is compared to MSFT? What was MSFT revenue last year - $13Billion. IBM's was $87Billion and its growing bigtime!! Believe me - I will be getting the bonus check in a couple months to prove it!

Is there anyone else on this board that thinks MSFT will take IBM down?

This will really separate the wheat from the chaf...
