CPQ has many problems to get stuck in the 30's. One of its biggest problem is competing against. Wall Street does not consider CPQ an internet company. Alta Vista is a search engine, a good one I must admit. The hot item right now is e-commerce, especially the holiday season make people realize that in the future a big chucnk of shopping will be done through the internet. On Monday, Clinton and Gore will promote e-commerce.

Won't you join us in helping Dell's stock go up and reap the reward?

Some people just don't get it.

TCBA:

I am assuming you are talking about Alta Vista,it is a great asset with full of potential for Compaq but if they don't know how to leverage this asset to their advantage I say it is their problem.I guess some companies/people just don't get it even when 'opportunity' comes and knocks them off their ass.<vbg>

TCB --- I hope you are right but have a different feeling,,, the only reason the NAS is going up is the NETS,,, when they fall they may take the mkt with it. As DELL keeps falling where will it be if the mkt overal goes down??? Holding for awhile longer and will take a small loss and run.
