CPQ has many problems to get stuck in the 30's. One of its biggest problem is competing against. Wall Street does not consider CPQ an internet company. Alta Vista is a search engine, a good one I must admit. The hot item right now is e-commerce, especially the holiday season make people realize that in the future a big chucnk of shopping will be done through the internet. Some people just don't get it. TCBA: I am assuming you are talking about Alta Vista,it is a great asset with full of potential for Compaq but if they don't know how to leverage this asset to their advantage I say it is their problem.I guess some companies/people just don't get it even when 'opportunity' comes and knocks them off their ass.<vbg>
