MB, Old Republic. Damn, you are good! You "hit several nails on the head". 1. Mortgage Insurance. Another "bird" has indicated this area is under pressure. 2. Investment Income. Another bullseye(although I have never understood why more weight is not given to this area with insurors, especially with Insurors like ACE & XL). 3. Underwriting Profit. I never count on it ( here today- gone tomorrow due to competition or disasters) My itchy finger tells me to take my 12% paper return ( in one month) and leave, but my greedy gut tells me their is not much downside risk in the very near future so I will hang in there for another point or two or three<G>.I appreciate your response and was surprised you didn't list more negative areas, but maybe you are just being nice to an old man. NAWH!<G>
