A Co-worker just sold about 10000 shares of Dell without showing much gain and reinvested all in Microsoft. Did he do the right thing? Any opinions?

This was on RGING BULL week off Nov.23-27

Lucent (LU) and Dell (DELL) have not been participating this week.
Are we worried? NOT AT ALL. Lucent has had a great run from the $50
level and Dell, well, Dell is DELL!! It's taking a breather. Don't
read so much into a one day or a one week window. Dell is exploding
and will continue to do well. Remember, this stock has a high PE and
could easily sit here for a few months while the company catches up to
the stock price.
