Thanks for the thoughts, John, they were thoughtful and helpful. I agree that it's an industry wide problem, I'm just wondering whether in addition to the write down they've abandoned certain aspects of their 300mm research. Anybody have ideas on how to get a feel for how far away we are from full implementation of 300mm? Any web sources that would tell one which chip makers are on the cutting edge with respect to wafer size and how far they've moved from 200mm to 300mm? And I don't want to have to pay umpteen thousand dollars to Dataquest or Forester or whomever for one of their industry reports, so don't point me there. I want free. ;-) Anaxagoras
