Funnymental stuff:

ECOMMERCE BACKEND SOLUTIONS
Researchers at IDC predict 40% of Web users will be online buyers by 2002, resulting in $400 billion in ecommerce transactions. Online sales of mainstream luxury items have surged 200% in the past 12 months, according to Cyberdialogue, suggesting a mainstream ecommerce boom is approaching. And signaling major opportunities for companies that provided the plumbing for online transactions. A few examples:

InfoSpace makes "The Ultimate Product Search," a syndicated product comparison engine that lets users check prices and availability on products in 20 different categories.

Lucent Technologies markets ecommerce consulting, security products and software to ISPs.

IMO the particular plumbing solution offered by ECHO is an opportunity.

From the 10/30 press release:

IP-Charge allows Internet Service Providers (ISPs) to provide Internet commerce and interfaces with ECHONLINE, ECHO's Internet product. ECHO is the only processor that has certified IP-Charge to date.

Key word here being "only". Now sure Go Systems Inc writes the software BUT Go Systems is a private software co. not a company that services internet retailers.

Also from the same release:

IP-Charge sends transaction data via the Internet directly to the credit card processing company.
This results in significant savings for the merchant.

As mentioned earlier on the thread, save them money and they will come.

Then there's the AMZN rumor. Regardless of its possible accuracy or inaccuracy, my own analysis of ECHO's technical profile has led me to buy ECHO in the light that there is technical room for ECHO to go well into double digits. I won't venture a time frame yet but I expect it will be soon.

Any other additions to these entries, observations and comments I'm sure would be appreciated by all.

Have you an opinion?

Hi Doug:

I do not own ECHO but if I were to test the waters so to speak tomorrow, would you suggest getting in at the open irrespective of the price or wait perhaps half an hour or so? I have noticed several times in the past that when a stock opens up in the morning it usually dips a bit sometime with in the hour.I don't know about these
'InterNut' stocks though particularly in the last couple of days, quite unreal to say the least.

Appreciate any suggestions,much obliged indeed.
