hee hee again.....MJ just came in and I got off the puter. She gathered my bowl to take to the kitchen, and as we get there she says, "No wonder your Dad couldn't find the cat dish." [Boy ~ is this cosmic-coincidence or what?] "Why?" I said. "Because I'm eating out of it?" "Yah" she says, laughing heartily. "That's not very funny" I say, giggling myself.

Another new baby for DAR! Michael, I'm so thrilled for you both! Do the kids know yet? (If this is the product of Marriage Encounters---umm--don't think I want to go.....) We discovered that we had been focusing so much attention on the kids, that we kinda took our own relationship for granted. We have found this to be very, very true in our own and in our friends' relationships. And children are such a "noble" reason to neglect a marriage- so easy to use as an escape from facing what should be your primary bond. I don't believe we're terribly honest with the younger generation about what marriage entails-and then when it's not all Handsome Prince and Sleeping Beauty, they think they just chose wrong and get out. On the other hand, the boys don't really want to know that things can be tough sometimes, I don't think. It's a hard fence to straddle. Reality and romance. We are off to see Grease. Ammo has just informed me that he has no pants that aren't two inches above his ankles. When did he get so tall????
