Is this wcom's first shot over the bow toward ATT and their pending merger with TCOMA? Didn't wcom object to the proposed bundling of phone/tv/internet services by att and tci? It seems now that wcom feels that bundling will be allowed by FCC. Perhaps this is their first attempted counter punch. Deal indicates that wcom feels that perhaps att/tci will be a viable competitor going forward. TV/internet convergence with phone is a portfolio must for communications companies going forward, especially those that target the general public.
