What you are maintaining just doesn't compute, at least with DePeepster & me.

My account opened years ago with Merrill contained zero BB stocks at that time. Upon adding DCTC, the account number didn't change nor did they separate that position into a different account. The marginable dollars simply show that the value of the DCTC position has been subtracted out (as DePeepster stated). Are you saying Merrill is in violation of the law?

Also, NO, there is no "little man" watching over the account....I suspect Merrill has a very simple computer program in place to do this......ROFL.

My account MUST be a type 2, as you define it, because it IS marginable, altho it contains part of my DCTC holdings, so all items in that type 2 account must NOT be considered for loan value, apparently...........or, Merrill Lynch doesn't know the law.
