><>...The Evil Dead??...><> welcome you stated: Most Christians believe what they do because of Paul. Most Christians are disciles of Christ , and believe what they believe because they believe in the grace and love of God. The Christians faith is in Him and His words of truth, which were given to us by many prophets and disciples, of whom Paul was just one. Paul's doctrine was the following: Gal 1:8-12 8 But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed. 9 As we said before, so say I now again, If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed. 10 For do I now persuade men, or God? or do I seek to please men? for if I yet pleased men, I should not be the servant of Christ. 11 But I certify you, brethren, that the gospel which was preached of me is not after man. 12 For I neither received it of man, neither was I taught it, but by the revelation of Jesus Christ. Rom 16:17-18 17 Now I beseech you, brethren, mark them which cause divisions and offences contrary to the doctrine which ye have learned; and avoid them. 18 For they that are such serve not our Lord Jesus Christ, but their own belly; and by good words and fair speeches deceive the hearts of the simple. Titus 2:10-15 10 Not purloining, but shewing all good fidelity; that they may adorn the doctrine of God our Saviour in all things. 11 For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, 12 Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world; 13 Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ; 14 Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works. 15 These things speak, and exhort, and rebuke with all authority. Let no man despise thee. You see Evil dead, Paul's own will was to persecute and kill Christians, until he met Jesus the Christ on the road to Damascus. And when did His heart was circumcised and he became a new man, a man of God, a man of love, filled with the knowledge of Christ . He believed now on the man that he once persecuted in the name of. His love for The Son of God propelled him to greatness and he became a mighty servant of the Lord... And in the end he was murdered for the love and truth of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Not to mentioned all the times he was imprisoned and or persecuted. If you were a student of the Bible Or a follower of Jesus Christ, you would know that Paul, although human and infallible, was an instrument of God, and to that degree the words penned by Paul were totally in accordance with the will of God, and the knowledge of Christ. You also wrote: How is his interpretation any better than mine? 1.His became a great part of the writings of the New Testament. 2.He was there. 3.He met Jesus on the road to Damascus. 4.His writings do not contradict the words of Christ. 5.His wisdom was from God, and his understanding of Christ were immeasurable. 6.He was willing to die for the sake of the Gospel of Christ. 7.He was infact murdered for the same. Just to name a few. Sincerely, Shalom...><> BTW, what brings you here? Care to open up to us? Or shall we just wait patiently and see for ourselves by your writings. In any case we welcome you.
