Did you use a stop order or stop limit order? Using the latter would have saved you from the rapid decent to 50. With these stocks stop limit orders is the only way to prevent surprises like today.

Jeff I don't do 'stop orders' so I don't know but I hear that this is a problem reported by many at least on various threads on SI and some believe this is an unhealthy exercise for obvious reasons like the one you just experienced.

Jeff, I think what happened to you is common in thinly traded stocks, and there's nothing to do about it other than not put in stop loss orders.
