Well I've had 2 inquiries the past week. First was SFSK they charged me 20 7/16, and reversed to 20 1/4, and the second was PTVL they charged 16 1/4, and reversed to 16.

Since I was purchasing in the thousands of shares, that 3/16 or 1/4 was quite a bit of money. Both were market orders, excuted approx. 10-15 minutes later.

Ameritrade's policy is 1 minute execution on market orders. But I've never seen 1 hour 20 mins for a market order IN MY LIFE!!! Talk about raping me in the ass with a baseball bat and no KY.

Fellow E*Trade Users:

Have you noticed that your 1000 or 2000 share orders are broken up into lots of, for example, 200 shares or 500 shares more frequently than in the past? Or is it just me? Until recently, even if there were only, for instance, 500 shares available on the ask and I placed a market order for 1000 shares, I would easily get filled my 1000 shares all at once (and in seconds) at the ask. Now, it seems that my order is oftentimes broken into small lots, like 200 or 300 shares (not to mention the slow execution). Is this happening to anyone else out there? Thanks for your time.
