<<These numbers a tad misleading. UNC by far has the best record if one divids by the number of seasons counted. I believe Kentucky's first season was 1903 while UNC's was 1911 or so...>>

Wrong Eddie. Kentucky's winning percentage is much higher than UNC's. Even though UK started playing earlier NC has played many more games than UK. When I have time I'll post both teams' won-loss record. BTW, UK has more titles than NC and Duke too.

My top 5 all-time:

1. Kentucky
2. UCLA
3. UNC
4. Indiana
5. Kansas

P.S. From your post:
1. Kentucky 1725W - 530L; 1 tie
2. UNC 1716W - 599L

Winning % - UK .765, UNC .741
IF UK had played as many games as UNC and had won .765 of them, they would have 1771 wins and no one would have a chance to catch them for many years.
