ATI has a reputation as being run by the smartest people in the business. If they're moving into W-CDMA, they must've gotten the word that it's not "vaporwear" or a legal non-starter; quite the reverse.
What does this mean to QCOM? IS-95B? CDMA 2000? or the air interface of wireless for ATI, PCS, BAM etc in the USA???
