Like I said before, Lutz, I wouldn't be selling at this point. I would hold onto your favorites and buy on dips. This Christmas will be a blow out for retailers, especially Internet retailers. That means that many companies will come in above estimates and the stocks will have a good quarter. I wouldn't start selling until next July.

We all have our bad days. You wouldn't feel so dumb if the day ended the way it started.

I took the opportunity to buy some PSFT today. Too bad it didn't come back with the rest of the naz.

Tomorrow is another day, with more unanswered questions....

jas.

Please NEVER NEVER sell at the open when the market gaps down and NEVER NEVER buy at the open when the market gaps up. MMs artificially manipulates the price by playing investors' emotions. (However, it is recommended to the other way around.)

You should get back in the market again. Market is just fine. It will continue its runup. Buy good stocks - not the ones you just sold - stocks such as DELL, INTC, CSCO etc. Hold it. Buy more if it goes down. In the long run, you will make money with minimal risk.
