I'm certainly NOT pleased about some of the weaseling comments made by certain Republicans.

Me neither!! Their dissenting votes might make all the difference and might actually end up extricating their senseless colleagues from the deep sh*t that the latter find themselves in right now!!

jimpit, Megadittos to your entire post! Did you see or what did you think of the show Alan Dershowitz put on today before the House Judiciary Committee? Another proud moment for the liberal professor/robots of the world!!!

jim,

What "wheasliling comments by Republicans"
are you talking about? I'm curious on that
one.

Last night, I saw Rep Mary Bono (R-CA) saying
to Wolf Blitzer of CNN that "If the Republicans
had spent as much time on spin as they did on
the rule of law, Americans would probably
understand what the Congress was doing with
regards to the impeachment proceedings". I
could not agree more with her. She also
mentioned that the public has been in the
midst of a backlash against the Republicans
over this whole proceedure. She pointed out
that she beat her Democratic opponent in a
special election. Then she had to run for
Congress against him again and despite the fact
that he dropped out of the race, he got more
votes the second time around. Clearly the
public is angered by the proceedings...but
then many Americans thought Marsha Clark
was "out to get O.J. Simpson".
