acyberguy and all, Netscape offers free online backup [up to 10MB].
I just found out about this.
cgi.netscape.com

I wouldn't put the combination to my vault there, but it might
come in handy for occasional temporary backup.

Netscape browsers can be updated here cgi.netscape.com

acyberguy:

I was talking to the tech where I bought my computer the other day, and he said 60% resources is low enough to cause problems. My system was having memory management problems and I did a clean re-install of Windows to fix it. It's better now. I'm not saying that's what you have to do--just that 60% is very low. Also, you are operating between 0 and 1MB Free Memory. That is also very low. Why don't you fill us in on what kind of hardware you are using (CPU, RAM, HDD) and what programs you normally have open. Also, what version of Windows 95--a or b? (click on My Computer/ Properties and you will see it on the pop-up screen).

Check Free Memory and Resources as soon as your computer boots up, and also hit ctrl/alt/del to see what programs are running at start-up (then hit "cancel" to close).

Regarding the other readings in System Monitor: Disk Cache Size and Allocated Memory, I believe have to do with the Windows swap file and you don't have to worry about that too much. I don't don't know what the Microsoft Client "bytes read" is, either. You can edit System Monitor, i.e. choose which things you want to monitor. Just go into "edit"---you can also choose the display type. I prefer the numerical display, but sometimes the chart is helpful. You can also choose View/Always On Top to have it viewable at all times.

You may have some other problem besides resources, but since they seem to be so low, that's where I would start looking.
