Sure, but the very best pull it off as yet another project on the way to continuing dominance in the industry. IBM has it now, Intel, I'll bet, will soon also.

This is true for those companies that want to purchase/partner for the
.18um technology. Intel will develop their own .18um process ... and ... Intel
has a very good baseline (.25um) to start from. AMD on the other hand
will be purchasing/partnering for some or all of their .18um technology.
