Here is something else to think about -

With electronics and computer prices so cheap these days it stands to reason that buyers can spend more on bells and whistles for such things as keyboards and mice with biometric fingerprint scanners (or eye scanning cameras). It will be interesting to see if by the 1999 Christmas shopping season we find these items on peoples' shopping list.

Keep in mind that when IDX got Identicator, it also picked up facial recognition technology.

I'm a little leery of an acquisition here that does not have a quick return on investment, especially after opening wide and swallowing IDT. IDX stock is not yet at a premium.
