I don't disagree. As a matter of fact, that would be one of the triggering points for me buying more shares...if/when they buy, themselves.

CMG: I agree with you. With the "hoard" of cash that company has at this time what a better way to signal to the market that everything is cool and that the stock is undervalued than by buying back a few million shares. Even an announcement that they intend to buy some back would generate some confidence.

Maybe they're worried about getting their ass sued by those who bought those convertibles and didn't immediately short the stock.

On the other hand, maybe there is another shoe that's about to be dropped.

<<NO INSIDER BUYING AT THESE LEVELS is the telling story here...................These guys cashed out at 35 less than 18 months ago and now the stocks at 6 and they aren't buying..........>>

Do we know this for a fact?

My understanding is that they only buy in a small open window after each earnings - i.e November, and that we won't know November purchases until later this month.

I agree insider buying is very important at this time.

Comments?

Excuse me?

biz.yahoo.com

It looks like they were buying at $23. Maybe they just ran out of money to buy in more at the $6's.

Later, Dennis

Amen to that. I specifically challenged Noam to do that (think I posted portions of the E-mail) and he gave me the classic "we'll consider it" non-commital response. He claimed they would only do it during the window after earnings. Greg, do you know how long that window is? I bet it's already closed.

I had a goal to imitate Dan Spillane and reward myself with a nice luxury car if I met my investment goal for this year. MRVC is going to be just about the difference. Could have bought a real nice car for what I'm down in this stock. I'm up about 1/3 of a nice car in VSIO on Dan's recommendation. Should have rolled all my MRVC into it. Maybe I'll fashion a hood ornament that looks like a little router box and stick it on my pick up truck and re-label it a MRVmobile.

Cheers, (Today was great for most of my tech stocks!)

Bob
