tomasso, et al---alive (barely) and still kicking (somewhat), i look forward to '99 knowing i'll be able to spend more time "gossiping" er, chatting with you all. last trip of year to east coast monday and i'll be spending part of the holiday learnig how to use my new power notebook so i will be able to browse, lurk and submit a bon mot ocassionally.

cashed maxed out on BSX and need to wait a while for a sell. XLNX cash rich so am pulling "vealies." VLSI action encouraging, IDTI stall discouraging. puzzled about HCIA, will look for exit point on PETM after 1st of year. unclear on CLE and long on MAS. zeroing in on REY, ZIRC and PHB.

participating in my first IPO on monday. infospace.com. hope it catches magic of other internet related ipo's of late. if so, i may be able to afford xmas presents miss. m. has already purchased.
