i put an order for almi (i rarely buy below $10) and cancelled it two minutes later. the confirmation came in about an hour later that it went through. i "sold" it minutes after reading the confirmation for a profit. After market closed, i got a confirmation that my pending market order from four hours earlier was cancel. i first emailed the broker (etrade) and called the next day. it was resolved as market at that time.

To add my sad story, I wanted to set a stop loss order but I couldn't get through on my broker's servers or on the phone while ONSL was still trading above $100. I finally got through when ONSL was trading down towards $90, and placed a market sell with the last trade indicated at about $91. It took about 20 minutes before the trade showed up as executed, and it was executed at $50! I requested that the firm investigate and they promised to get back to me by last Friday at the latest. They have not. Do I have any recourse?
