Pricing pressures: it would seem that the concern that CPQ- DELL competition heating up would put pressure on MUEI, as well as everyone else. This makes sense and could be an area of concern. With CPQ going direct (again, as Michael Dell said yesterday), then that should heat up the direct pc market. That makes it more imperative that MUEI had embarked on the road that it has. Also, possible more important that they consider a combination with a larger partner ( HWP, IBM ??)Still love the company and their computers. Its a battle out there, always has been, always will be. larry

manny t,

Pricing pressure in the 1st quarter does note bode well for MUEI. IMO, they are having a difficult time staying with DELL now. I have purchased a 400 and 450 PII Millenia within the past 6 months and also received a Dell 450 PII Dimension yesterday. I love the MUEI boxes, but I have to say that I'm real impressed with the DELL box too. The reason I bought the DELL? It was more than 10% less expensive for the same features (plus I got a 21" Sony Trinitron instead of the Hitatchi monitor). And so far, I don't see any inferior aspects of the Dimension. In fact, they use a color coding system for all their connectors which makes it EXTREMELY EASY to setup. Even with the lower stock price, I'm not going to jump back into MUEI just yet. I said that I would wait till after earnings are announced and that's what I will do. Good luck to you.
