It is probably a combination of things. First, I believe WDC is a large part of HMTT's business. If demand is up for WDC is should flow through to HMTT. Second, HMTT is known as the bright spot in media companies and Mutual Fund managers are probably picking the best performers in sectors expected to outperform. Third, maybe it's new contracts with WDC as StorMedia sure isn't around to fill those contracts it made with WDC late last year.

I don't think we have any more independent media companies in US except for KMAG and HMTT. Too bad the KMAG thread is dead as I am curious if anyone has insight on them. I know WDC was 30-40% of their business in the beginning of this year.
