Tom,

<<Would war between North Korea and U.S. affect market.>>

Aren't you stretching your bearish case a bit too far? Would a nuclear war be bad for the market? Would the death of Mssrs. Greenspan or Rubin be bad for the market? Better yet, would Greenspan killing Rubin in a fit of rage be bad for the market? Just buy the damn stock and get it out of your system.

John

Great! Let's have a contest to see who can come up with the factors that might have the most effect on the market. I'll start:

- the sun going supernova

Who's next?

These people sound a bit desperate and maybe a little paranoid. Do you take their rhetoric seriously? How familiar are you with them, and how long have you been reading this publication? And why? A bit unusual--I would suspect you've had some contact or experience with the N Koreans?

i am the retired soldier here. i can assure you that a war with north korea will be very bad for the north korean market and anything else that is north korean.
this is not 1949. a war with north korea would not last a day. the victory parade in ny would be awesome.
come to think of it the jubilation would probably get rmbs over the 120 we need for the party. the n. koreans need to hurry though, we are almost there without them.

Would go back to your bomb shelter already. I have friend for you he thinks much like you do, he can be found on the DELL bear thread. Goes by LT. Here's a post by him. You two should compare notes.
