Razor,

Interesting points, but not my cup of tea.

This price movement has caused permanent damage to my interest in oil & gas stocks. I was attracted to the O&G area because it appeared to me that commodity prices were actually fairly _constant -- that therefore you could basically ignore them and just focus on the other aspects of the business.

This is obviously no longer true. I would daresay that if some political turmoil suddenly causes prices to spike back up this would make me even less interested in this business. This would further demonstrate how volatile and unpredictable these commodity prices are.

I have very little interest in world politics or economics. Yet it seems now that if you want to invest in the oil & gas business you damn well better focus on these types of things. So this is why I'm getting out of this area.

I am into some natural gas stocks right now in a pretty big way but come spring I think I will have largely bailed from these positions.

Razor: Do you have any reccomendations of low priced oil stocks that I might check out.
