Please do not degenerate this board with name calling. He seemed fairly clear to me:
My 2 week experience @home cable has been both a treat and a frustration.
Obviously something is flaky in the network. Have any other users seen things like this?

maroon,

When I had a 33K modem I had very few problems with changing pages on SI. NEVER did I have to wait 3 minutes. If you think this is reasonable I will respect you level of expectations. I have my own.

On a personal note I think your rudeness seems to be at an equally low level.

What you are saying is correct, but the way you are saying it makes you look pretty retarded yourself. The poor guy was simply making an observation, and you are calling him a retard... This is not the place for this kind of stuff.

That being said, I agree that the bottleneck seems to be with SI and not ATHM. I am experiencing the same problems once in a while with SI, and as an experiment went to other sites and there was no problem there. Returned to SI and the problem came back. Logged back on to SI after a couple of hours, and it was all fine again.
