You are far more globally oriented than I, I could not possibly piece all of that together in concert with my approach.

But then you have the more viable macro approach which makes a lot of sense.

I guess I am looking for something that is a hit and run, a slam dunk, something that tells me that the posture of the Greenback as it is trading will definitely lead to a correction in the US equity market.

Not to say that what you are postulating does not do that; just that a hit and run trader such as myself needs a quick read. It's very hard for someone such as myself to approximate where the buck should be with regard to global economics and then trade appropriately.

I think that what you are saying is that the buck's price has to be taken in a perspective relative to global economies.

In stark comparison to sophisticated traders I am only interested in what I can do in the next 15 minutes. I cannot pretend that I can figure out longer term trends based on the Greenback's intricacies.

I can see it's an issue that requires a lot of thought.
